Lawyers are expensive, how much will it cost to work with you?

Any expert you hire to help you elevate your business will cost money.

However, to reduce end-of-the-month invoice surprises, I offer my services on a flat-fee basis.

Once I learn more about your business, I’ll put together a proposal based on your needs. This proposal will outline your options and potential projects along with the fees associated with each choice.

Can we still work together if I don’t live in California?

I’m only licensed to practice law in California. So if you aren’t based here, probably not.

I live in the my RV traveling around the U.S. so I don’t have an office for you to come visit. Which means I conduct business over the phone, email, or Zoom. And if you are not based in California or your contract isn’t based here, then sadly we probably can’t work together.

LegalZoom charges less, why shouldn’t I work with them?

Web services like LegalZoom are not law firms; they provide you-fill-in-the-blank forms that are not tailored to your situation.

They can’t advise you how to prepare the forms in alignment with your business and its goals or assure that the forms are accurately completed. They also can’t work with you to eliminate surprises, strategize about your business, and provide a framework for you to decide how best to move forward. But working with a lawyer can help you do all those things.
